One of my favorite furniture pieces to use is a ceramic garden stool. They are so versatile - one works beautifully as a chic side table, a pair of coffee tables, bedside table, extra seating or just as an accent piece, and they are so easy to move around when needed. What's even better is that they are perfect for indoor and out!

Bloemenmarkt - Amsterdam's Flower Market

After a recent visit to beautiful Amsterdam, I was especially charmed with the flower market which lines a canal in the city's center. Established in 1862, the market has long been a source of floral inspiration! Fresh flowers in an interior are certainly a luxury but one that can go a long way. Following a few interiors which floral arrangements make a big statement! 

This shop was my favorite my far - Klaas Timmer - I loved their rich fall colors and sophisticated arrangements!

Oh . . . Fall (Sigh)!

 I have always adored the fall - I love the leaves turning color in New York, the smell of fireplaces, the pumpkins, the chilly weather! But this year after almost a year spent in the continual August which is Singapore's climate, I am especially smitten!  It does not hurt that I am living in a charming French town and down the street from the stunning chateau of Fontainebleau. The gardens were begun in 1528 for Francois I, added to in 1661, and finally the Jardin Anglais was added in 1811-1812. I run here most mornings and its so beautiful I had to share a few of my quick snapshots with you. I hope you enjoy!
