In space-tight Singapore, it is rare I get to decorate a true entry - so I am excited to tackle one for a new project! Usually it's more of an entry hallway, common in condos, but this house has a proper room to welcome you into the home. Must haves include an interesting pendant fixture, a sideboard for shoe storage (a necessity in Asia!) and a piece of comfy upholstered seating. I love when an entry declares the personality of the owners right as you come in. Here are few compact but lively entries packed with style from our inspiration files . . .

Not too long ago a trendy new restaurant Do Ho opened here in Singapore. I love its tropical chic interiors so I was thrilled when a long time client requested a new terrace inspired by these cool spaces. The client has a large decked back yard and he loves to entertain so we thought this fun, breezy style would suit perfectly! Loving how it all came together, now just wait to for an invite to his next party . . .

Neutrals are lovely but sometimes you just crave color! Saturated in a million shades of blue and layered with pattern, this Swedish home is a so inspiring. It is the home of photographer and creative Kristin Lagerqvist and her young family, and the spaces beautifully blend a fresh, casual aesthetic with lots of antique pieces. I especially love the use of gallery walls and bold wall papers. Just dreamy . . .

One of the silver linings about living so far from home, is that almost anyplace is in the middle! Last week we meet our families in Porto, Portugal and Mallorca, Spain. It was such a wonderful week, filled with gorgeous architecture, beaches, food, scenery and family time. Feeling so grateful and inspired (and already missing these faces!) Here are few of my favorite moments. . .
