I pretty much love everything about this warm and eclectic Chicago apartment photographed by Roland Bello. The color palette of olive, ivory, rich browns and black is so striking and I love the layered, European sophistication each space has. These are not interiors you put together in a week but are built up over time and travels {or at least I like to imagine them that way!} The quirky touches are also wonderful - the hard hat on the marble bust is so charming and hanging coats instead of a shower curtain in the guest bath is brilliant if you ask me!
And I think this cozy home would be just lovely for fall and holiday entertaining! Are there any details which catch your eye?

Hi Allison, this place looks fantastic, so homely and comfortable, my kind of place xo
Such beautiful images...love the vignette in the first photo!!
I love how comfortable, yet sophisticated, it looks...and it looks like he/she doesn't take things too seriously either which is really fun...great space!
Hey Allison,
How I adore the first image - so cool.
Great spaces really.
Have a lovely day sweets,

What a great apartment! So warm, so sophisticated & obviously, belonging to somebody with great taste & plenty of self-confidence. I wish I lived there.
Oh, wait--I did! That's my old place, as shot by Roland Bello for O at Home's next-to-last issue, in September 2008. Thanks for giving me a few more minutes of fame, Alison!

Gosh, I could not agree more! I love the rich woods paired with the dark walls most of all. Beautiful antiques!
