Every year since college, my best girl friends and I spend a week together on Martha's Vineyard. It is always a highlight of my year and as I am so sappy, pretty much everything about the island now brings a smile to my face. So in honor of the beginning of my official countdown to this year's week of girly bonding, I am sharing Meg Ryan's fantastic Martha's Vineyard home, featured in Elle Decor. Martha's Vineyard is just the right mix of preppy, rustic, historic, beachy, and glamorous and is long on nostalgic small town charm. Ryan's home is beautiful example of just this! I love how airy and causal her home but still so inviting.
A simply beautiful bath
This kitchen is perfection - I love the weathered, oversized island and vintage industrial style lighting!
Painted brick and stone shelving makes a charming pantry.
A terrific oversized bluestone sink and painted brick shelving give the master bath an industrial chic feel.
The barn door is fantastic and I love the burst of purple!
Painting all the old beams white, combined with the iron accents and dark floors, is just lovely.
The stunning view from the home
Possibly one of my favorite homes ever! Maybe one day instead of renting an old house for the week one of us girls will have a summer home like this one! A girl can dream!

I love, love, love her pantry area! Reminds me of Nora Walkers pantry from Brothers&Sisters!
This is a lovely home. What I love most is the beautiful bath. So simple yet so delightful.
