Today I am having a serious case of wanderlust. . . while I know lots of you would kill to be in the heat of Singapore, today I am dreaming of a snowy and cozy wintertime destination! {The grass is always greeener, right!} I love the idea of a European winter city-scape or natural beauty.
Where is top on your travel wish list?
What are you day dreaming of today?

I am so inspired by the unexpected combo of glamour and bold color in the London home of a Sisley fashion executive. Playful details, plenty of pattern and mid century modern accents give these elegant spaces a lively and welcoming feel. I just love the unusual pops of light blue and tomato reds in the living room!
This chic bathroom - office - closet might be my favorite room in the whole place! LOVE!
Another stellar color combo - the palest pink, magenta and duck green - wow!
So eclectic and fun! Any details which catch your eye?

I love this bright and airy office. It's so simple and I think that is certainly an IKEA rug, but the overall look is just lovely! I love the graphic art prints, the mis-matched chairs and the bare windows. I also like that the stylist did not even bother to hide all those computer cords.
See. . . sometimes a pretty interior is not so hard after all!
Could you work in this space?

I love being inspired by the past! I was sorting through all sorts of beautiful old family photos and came across this great one of my mom and my grandparents in 1972 (my grandma Ethel Spicer of Spicer + Bank is in yellow. So chic right?) I loved seeing my family but also the interior, that sage green toile wallpaper is amazing and I love how it is still so on trend today! A neutral toned toile is just timeless and so elegant.
Here are few modern inspirations . . . Do you have any photos of family interiors which inspire you?
Especially loving that first shot with the bright accessories against the black and white toile!!

Just had to add these two inspirations to my color blocking trend alert from yesterday! I love this rustic version, it even looks great if your walls are not perfectly smooth!
And what a fun way to spice up a simple bookcase or set of built ins!

We have all seen a lot of bold color blocking in fashion this year, and I am thrilled to see that the trend has spilled over to interiors too! Using paint to create large, crisp blocks of color is a brilliant way to add architecture and texture to a plain space! It's a great way to bring in a vibrant paint color without overpowering the whole space. Plus, this faux wainscoting is so affordable and even can work in rental apartments or homes.
Love this last image - yellow and gray is such a chic combo! Dying to try it at home!

I am swooning over designer Jacques Grange's seaside retreat in Portugal. We are planning a trip to Porto in June and just seeing this home got me soooo excited! It is so breezy and charming. I love the crisp white and neutral palette studded with colorful accessories and a few pieces of vintage or repurposed textiles. What a perfect vision of European coastal relaxation!
I love the small bar cart used as a coffee table and the kitchen cabinet full of vibrant dinnerware and glassware.
Are there any details which inspire you?

I just discovered the Society6 Art print shop at Urban Outfitters online - who knew?!? I love their selection of quirky, prints and photographs, and all are well priced. A perfect stop if you are creating a gallery wall. My picks are below but you'll have to visit and decide for yourself. . . .
They even look great unframed! Any of them strike your fancy?
