I am back in steamy Singapore, but in honor of my time in lovely Ireland I had to share this beautifully modern seaside home in Connemara. It was designed by architects Peter Legge Associates and what an incredible contrast to the charming, romantic style of the traditional Irish homes {see here}! The pair of dilapidated stone cottages were rebuilt and joined with an innovative glass structure to create one unique guest house. I love how the cabin embraces the fantastic natural setting and I think the balance of rugged and sleek is just perfect. I can just imaging spending a cozy fall weekend here!

House Tour: NY Americana Chic

Happy 4th of July Everyone! In honor of the holiday, I had to share the casual but oh so chic summer home of designer Thom Filicia in upstate New York. Filicia renovated and decorated the previously dilapidated 1917 lakeside cabin and the result perfectly captures with his signature style of rustic American warmth {I have always had a major style crush!}. I love the combo of campy, rough textures with a few mod pieces and loads of incredible accessories. For me, this would be the perfect place to spend a 4th of July weekend! Any details you are loving?

Notice the rope detailing that pops up thorough the house. . . a perfect nod to life on the lake!

Weekend Dreaming: Collected Country Chic

Today, I am dreaming of meeting a group of close friends at this stunning, rustic villa! I love the country, hillside setting, the old stone architecture and the cluttered, cozy interiors. Perfect for a weekend of blissful rest, catching up and cooking long dinners.

Spanish Shabby Chic

I love the brightly colored accents, rustic finishes, and casual vibe of this country home in Los Lobos, Spain. For me, it's a perfect fusion of Spanish sophistication and vintage country style. The house needed a ton of structural and interior work, but I think the homeowners did a lovely job of retaining its unique, collected feel. What a fantastic place to unwind on the weekends!

I especially love that vibrant and welcoming kitchen and the exterior of the house - the sage green and terracotta pink looks so perfect framed by palms!
