Now, I know that some items in a space are just plain necessary - but that does not have stop them from being beautiful and stylish! I am so sad when I see a pretty interior with a terrible plastic or metal mesh rubbish bin. Especially in an office or a small bathroom, waste bins are often very visible so why not pick a chic one? I think no design detail is too small!

I love #7, it's so chic! Also swooning over #1 and #4. I recently got one of the chevron wastebasket (very similar to #4) but in an oval shape with scallop details from OKL! Love it, it's such an unexpected statement piece!

Of course it is important to stay chic, even if you have to do a nasty job. That said, a wastebasket fairly deserves a preppy look.
