I just had to share a few snaps of our visit last weekend to Tokyo - what an amazing city! Everyone told us we would love it but I still could not have imaged a place so creative, cultural, quirky and lively! The combination of an exceptionally rich past with a modern energy and spark puts Tokyo at the very top of my travel list. We adored the vibrant nightlife, warm people, bold fashion choices and delicious food. . .  I will stop gushing now but honestly, if you ever can, please go! 

I already want to go back . . .

I just love this rustic yet modern interior! Inspired IKEA: My Top 10 Picks

IKEA is all around us! The giant Swedish chain is so accessible, affordable and has so locations across the globe, that most of us think we know all they have to offer. And while they do still have many of the staples we had in our first apartment or dorm room, lately they have upped the ante with lots chic design steals too! I love to mix IKEA with higher end pieces for a really collected look, so when The Honeycombers asked me to put together my most inspired picks I was thrilled!  Docksta Dining Table $199. One of my favorite mod yet classic pieces! Pair it with antique or vintage chairs for an unexpected and eclectic dining or study area.

Tokyo Bound!

One of the most amazing perks of living in Singapore is how close we are to so many incredible travel locations! While lately we have been working far too much to travel, this weekend we are heading to Tokyo to visit a close friend. I have never been to Japan and am so fascinated to experience it all! Singapore Shopping: FrancFranc

I am always searching for chic home accessories here in Sing so I was super excited to hear about the opening of Japanese home-ware shop FrancFranc! They have a small selection of pretty, modern furniture but what I really love is the great selection of textiles, dinnerware, glasses, kitchen gadgets, bedding, throw rugs, baskets, candles and decorative storage {just to name a few!} I went home with a turquoise melamine salad bowl, a striped plum and white pillow and an amazing tangerine and calico flower candle. I was most smiten with all the lovely bright hues they carry, here are a few snaps of my favorite pieces . .  .
