I have long been smitten with this fantastic bedroom, and specifically with its gorgeous faded rose and sage colored vintage wall covering. I had seen a few shots of this beautiful but tiny New York one bedroom apartment, but had never seen the whole space or known who designed it until now {it's the home of designer David Kaihoi! And he lives here with his wife and 3 year old daughter!}. While the 18th century antique Chinese wall paper is still the highlight for me, I found the whole space so full of life and color. Though I am not sure we could survive in a space quite so small, I am still happy to admire its beauty!
What is your favorite element in this jewel box apartment?
Since it was in tatters when he found it an auction, the designer cleverly installed the wall covering as a collage, cobbling it together - I think that makes me love it even more.
For meals, the coffee table is replaced by a dining height table.
Hope this gives you a little Monday morning boost of inspiration! I know it did for me!

Amazing apartment, but is that their daughter's bed right beside theirs? Yikes. How does that work?
@Tiffany - totally agree! I think having your daughter sleep in your room is not the best! certainly too small for me and my husband let alone with a baby but the apt was lovely I just had to share! thanks for stopping by!
