Lush Styling Trick

One of the best and most simple photo styling tricks is simply quantity! Large masses of any item can  look lush and rich. For florals, foods, or accessories a big pile can make something average seem luxurious. Once when installing a home for client we realized a few more home accessories were badly needed - since we had none on hand, we used large bowls and piles of pistachios in the shell and tangerines (with dark green leaves from the garden tucked in). The effect was perfect!

I just love this kitchen vignette by Roman and Williams, featured in NY Magazine. Mass of Branches + lots of red grapes + blocks cheese + dramatic lighting = gorgeous kitchen!
